Sometimes all it takes to make a change is a change in perspective. The articles are designed to provide "how to's" and different perspectives on common challenges.
Hey - nice blog, just looking around some blogs, seems a pretty nice platform you are using. I'm currently using Wordpress for a few of my sites but looking to change one of them over to a platform similar to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you would recommend about it?
I began my professional career in health care over 10 years ago. Becoming a health care professional culminated in the fulfillment of a dream I had since childhood. Funny thing was that while I was pursuing my dream I became passionate about something else: personal finance and freedom. Personal finance because I learned the hard way that income is not wealth. Freedom because I became the head of my practice at a young age and I interviewed men twice my age who had worked twice as long as I had and were looking for jobs unable to retire. After 20+ years of earning six figure incomes, they were not free. Through study, I realized that the keys to successful personal finance mastery were attainable by those who desired the knowledge. I then discovered a third passion: writing about what I have learned. to assist others in achieving their dreams. Today, I am a member of the Free Agent Nation. The Free Agent Nation is an ever-expanding group of bloggers and independent business people who have struck out on their own to discover their passions, voice and financial independence. Daniel Pink wrote about members of the Free Agent Nation in his book of the same name.
1) Don't base your decisions on only one source of information 2) Always listen to dissenting opinions, this is especially true in personal finance 3) Always read widely. Read books from a variety of sources over a variety of topics to help round out your personal philosophy 4) Develop a personal philosophy. If you don't you will always end up serving someone who has 5) It is normal to change your mind about what is important in your life
